Race Report: Day 3 

PRO reports:

On the final day of racing the weather cooperated as did the sailors, with a clean slate on the protest board. 2011 will be hard to beat but we look forward to seeing everyone next year at Verve 2012!

Race Report: Day 2

Today on the water the changing winds, rain and thunderstorms led to a significant postponement, with two circles completing one race each and Circle C completing no races.

PRO reports:

Circle A: Day 2 started with the intention to begin the long distance race on time, but concerns about rapidly deteriorating conditions caused the RC to postpone the race and send boats to harbor. The postponement was lowered at 1200 and a warning for the first distance…

Today on the water the circles were each able to get in three races. The race committee postponed the start for nearly an hour waiting for the wind to build. The wind was east to east southeast most of the day, building slightly from three to five, to seven to nine.
