SAILGROOVE.ORG TO COVER 2009 CHICAGO YACHT CLUB VERVE CUP OFFSHORE REGATTA

Austin, TX – August 3, 2009 — Sailgroove.org will be the main media outlet for the 2009 CYC Verve Cup Offshore Regatta hosted by the Chicago Yacht Club August 13-16. Sailgroove will provide exclusive coverage of the Verve Cup Offshore Regatta from Chicago, IL, including all Race Circles, and exclusive Thursday coverage of the J 109 North American Championships. Photos, race video and interviews will also be available each day after the events.

As one of the major offshore regattas held in the US during the month of August, The Verve Cup has developed into a world-class event, attracting national and international sailing competitors. Held along Chicago's beautiful lakefront, with the stunning Chicago skyline as the backdrop (and the Chicago Air and Water Show taking place, too), the Verve Cup Regatta will attract over 150 yachts ranging in size from 25 to 70 feet in length, and crews of 4 to 20 people.
